Le Racou Beach House is about 50sq. m. and has a large open sitting room with a mezanine double bedroom, a separate children's bedroom, a shower room, and a kitchen.

This beach house is a charming property situated quite literally on the beach at the delightfully low-key resort of Le Racou, just south of Argeles. There are a number of properties on the beach: this one is on the second row back from the seafront itself, and although just a footstep away from the sea, is quieter and more private than those right on the front.

Le Racou has everything you might need for a beach holiday. The long sandy beach has great snorkelling rocks at one end, and a yachting port buzzing with restaurants and cafes at the other end. There are some small shops not far from the house and a few relaxed beach style restaurants within easy reach. Collioure, the beautiful port patronised by artists for centuries, lies just south of the beach.

The beach house is only 15 meters from the beach itself, with direct access from the house. Le Racou is between Argeles Port (pleasure boats and yachts) and Collioure (beautiful, famous fishing village, the St. Tropez of the area). There are restaurants, cafes and small shops behind the beach, and many more can be found in Collioure and Argeles. Le Racou is very near the Spanish border and it is easy to make day trips to Spain.

Not far away, you have Ceret, Cathar Castles, the Pyrenees mountains, and vineyards. The area boasts countless events throughout the year, from music festivals to art exhibitions (the Musee D'art Moderne in Ceret holds many Picassos) to local fetes and festivals celebrating everything from the local oyster harvest to Bastille Day.
